AU Sports was recently featured on WGN TV's "SEE Chicago".
Chicago Cubs First Baseman Frank Schwindel will be signing autographs in our store on Friday, May 27, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. See our Events page for more information.
AU Sports is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, including Sunday.
We are following safety protocols in accordance with state guidelines, including sanitizing our counters and other high-touch surfaces, and have hand sanitizer available for customers to use.
All customers must wear a mask over their mouth and nose while visiting AU Sports, and due to state guidelines, only 10 customers can be in the store at a time. If you prefer curbside pickup, we can accomodate that request as well.

AU Sports is Chicagoland’s oldest and best sports memorabilia store! Founded in 1980 by Chicago Cubs historian and Chicago Sun-Times writer Eddie Gold, AU Sports has served the hobby continuously for almost 40 years. Our hobby reputation is well established, and we continue to strive to get even better. We have hosted over 300 autograph signings over the years and have over 5 million sports cards in stock. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we will help you find it.
We also have hundreds of sports publications, programs, magazines, media guides, autographed baseballs, photos and more. New sports card packs and boxes arrive at our store every Thursday.
AU Sports has been featured on Spike TV’s Auction Hunters, WTTW’s SEE Chicago, Sirott & Murciano on WLS-AM and David Kaplan on WGN. Co-owners Scott Beatty and Frank Caputo have contributed their expertise to publications like Sports Collectors Digest, Chicago Cubs Vine Line and the Beckett sports publications. Scott Beatty is also a member of the All-Star appraisal team gathered for the Emmy Award-winning show A Piece of the Game on WGN-TV and NBC SportsNet Chicago.
